Global University Engagement Monitor

This survey seeks the input of key actors within higher education institutions about the extent, development and challenges of UBC.

The European Commission initiated a major international initiative to get a better understanding of the situation of how European Higher Education Institutions interact with their environment, with focus on business. Following up on the largest European study into university-business cooperation (UBC) completed in 2010-11 and another one completed in 2016-17, this study seeks to further strengthen the knowledge on the topic and help inform policies to improve future partnerships between universities and external organisations on the global level.

The survey itself will take  around 15 minutes to complete and all responses will remain anonymous. 

As a measure of gratitude, upon completion of the survey, you can choose to receive a Cooperation Readiness Assessment for yourself / your organisation, which provides insight to assist your future external collaboration efforts.

For the purpose of this study, the term 'university' incorporates all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and business includes privately and publicly owned organisations, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and not for profit organisations.
