Sophie Chan: a global platform for women entrepreneurs

The Sophie Chan Project is planned to become a global digital platform and catalyst for female entrepreneurship. The World Economic Forum Gender Gap Report 2021 summarizes that we will still need over 260 years to achieve gender equality in the field of economic participation (Corona made this gap bigger again). We want to accelerate this process! 

The idea is simple. We feel there is so much opportunity and support for women out there - but often, the ones who really need it, don't have access to these networks and opportunities in the world. Through a mobile application we are providing (future) female entrepreneurs access to all these existing support networks, organisations, mentors, accelerators, gender lense funds and company programs all over the world (especially in remote or disconnected areas).  

The purpose of this survey is to better understand the needs of women entrepreneurs and their networks all over the world, in order to design the services of this project adapted to potential users.

This project is powered by ABURY Foundation. We are an NGO based in Berlin, Germany, whose goal is to strengthen women and support them become financially independent. Our programs offer help for self-help and create equal opportunities.
