1st International Diagnostic Partnering Conference in 2019
DxPx Conference: Fostering success for Diagnostics & LifeScience Research Tools!
The 1st International Diagnostics Partnering Conference "DxPx Conference" will adapt the well-established pharma partnering concept to fit the specific needs of the diagnostics (Dx) industry. On Monday, November 18th, 2019 (not 2018), parallel to the first day of MEDICA, the DxPx Conference will bring together 600 to 1000 stakeholders from the diagnostics and LifeScience research tool industry to a rendezvous at the Maritim Hotel, Duesseldorf, Germany. The Maritim Hotel has excellent traffic connections and is situated at Dusseldorf International Airport, just 10 minutes by car from the MEDICA exhibition halls. By bringing together startup entrepreneurs, creative minds, visionaries, movers, decision-makers and financiers, we will initiate a dialogue from which we will promote and support an ever-improving exchange with one another – across regional clusters and national boundaries. To enable a deal-orientated conference setting the DxPx Conferences will focus only on senior and c-level executives; traditional service provider / consultancies will be excluded.
In advance to the meeting, we will also invite diagnostic startups from around the globe, who have been established for less than three years, to submit presentations of their businesses and ideas. From these, the DxPx sponsors and selected industry executives will select a Startup Top Twenty. These companies will be awarded the opportunity of introducing themselves through a pitch and small booth at the conference.
Why do we believe a partnering conference specifically designed for the Diagnostics / LifeScience Research Tool industry is an unmet need?
The fast dynamics in today’s life sciences industry is a challenge for all of us. Increasingly, emerging, game-changing technologies, such as microfluidic chips, are becoming available, but a struggle remains to get them integrated into clinical practice. Constant changes in healthcare policy and within the industry uniquely affect Dx developments and present challenges to business success. This includes specific market entry barriers, such as those associated with reimbursement and regulation, which complicate launches of innovative products. In addition, the classical Dx segment has to face hot topics such as big data management, eHealth or digital health. Would you not benefit from the opportunity to explore solutions with your Dx peers?
