New project for Alliance for Trade Facilitation: Survey on importing medical devices into Indonesia |
Introduction
The aim of this new industry-related project by the Alliance for Trade Facilitation is to look at ways of improving the actual customs import procedure for medical devices into Indonesia. In particular, the goal is to reduce trade costs for companies and facilitate trade.
In order to be able to cater the project as precisely as possible to your requests for improvement in the import process and to obtain a more accurate picture of the products concerned, we have prepared a short questionnaire in English.
For highlighting the involvement of German companies in Indonesia, it would also be helpful for us to gather more information about the local presence of German companies, be it in sourcing, production, maintenance and service, sales, etc., which add value locally and benefit economic development.

Ziel dieses neuen branchenbezogenen Projekts der Alliance for Trade Facilitation ist es, Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung des tatsächlichen Zollimportverfahrens für Medizinprodukte nach Indonesien zu finden. Ziel ist es insbesondere, die Handelskosten für Unternehmen zu senken und den Handel zu erleichtern. Um möglichst genau auf Ihre Wünsche zur Verbesserung des Importprozesses eingehen zu können und um ein genaueres Bild der betroffenen Produkte zu erhalten, haben wir einen kurzen Fragebogen in englischer Sprache vorbereitet.
Um das Engagement deutscher Unternehmen in Indonesien zu beleuchten, wäre es für uns auch hilfreich, mehr Informationen über die lokale Präsenz deutscher Unternehmen zu erhalten, sei es in der Beschaffung, der Produktion, der Wartung und dem Service, dem Vertrieb usw., die vor Ort einen Mehrwert schaffen und die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung fördern.
